About Us
The beginning of Bucci’s Jewelry & Design began when Joe Bucci was a
Sophomore at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. Joe worked out of his parent’s
basement doing jewelry repairs and jewelry demonstrations. Many of Joe’s
teachers recall him bringing his briefcase full of jewelry to school, and
in between periods buying things from him. He graduated in 1983 from PWHS
and in just a few years opened his own store right here in Conshohocken,
PA on March 22, 1987.
Joe Bucci realized his specialty was creating custom diamond engagement rings and all other custom jewelry. He has a unique and magical way of making his customers’ ideas come to life.

Andy Gider – Diamond Setter
Andy Gider is a Diamond Setter with 32 years experience. Originally from Istanbul, he started an apprenticeship at age 10 under one of the top jewelers of Turkey. He says he has always wanted to be a diamond setter. In 1984 Andy and his family moved to America. He worked on Jewelers Row on 8th and Sansom for 20 years until he met Joe Bucci. Andy says Bucci Jewelers is his true home. “I love working for Bucci Jewelers, “he says. “I finally found a place of work I can see myself retiring from.”
Louis Girimonte – Master Jeweler
Master jeweler Louis Girimonte has worked in the jewelry business for 33 years – 18 of them at Bucci Jewelers. His first job was working for a manufacturing jeweler polishing jewelry. His second job was repairing exclusive and antique jewelry for Louis Neff Jewelers – where he met his wife Theresa, also a jeweler. After getting married he ran his own jewelry business on Sansom Street. He repaired and made jewelry for Bucci Jewelers for 6 years until one day Joe “made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.” He has been working at the store ever since.
Dawn Augustine – Sales Manager
Sales Manager Dawn Augustine started as a sales woman in a high-end clothing boutique and in the beauty industry. “Now I have a job where diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and how true that is!” Dawn says. She has worked for Joe for the past 15 years. Bucci customers rely on Dawn for expert advice when designing unique pieces. “It’s unexplainable the amount of joy I get from designing that one special piece of jewelry that you know someone will be wearing and loving for a lifetime,” she says. “To see the reaction on a person’s face when you are able to materialize their dreams and bring them into a reality is priceless. I have found my one true passion in jewelry.”
